Frequently asked questions
-
Goal-oriented work to build mental skills: stress management, focus,
emotional regulation, staying motivated. Sessions draw on sport
psychology, cognitive brief therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT). -
Coaching looks forward and works toward specific goals. It isn't
therapy and doesn't replace it: psychotherapy and clinical psychology are for situations involving mental health symptoms or disorders that need clinical treatment. Coaching fits when you want to build skills like stress management, focus, or sustainable energy, without needing a diagnosis or crisis behind it. Recognizing when someone needs a different kind of support, and referring them on, is part of my job. -
Often the most. Highly driven people tend to already be demanding of themselves and motivated to keep growing. The work isn't about questioning the goals, it's about building performance that holds up over the long run: values and identity work, setting boundaries, real recovery, and mental flexibility, so ambition doesn't run down the reserves behind it.
